The conference Awards committee is seeking nominations for awards in the following categories: (1) Outstanding Early Career and (2) Prominent Research & Leadership. Please consider nominating an outstanding individual. Nominations must include the CV of the nominee and one supporting letter from the nominator. All nominations must be submitted electronically by May15th 2021 to the µFIP Awards Committee at vnarayanan@ucdavis.edu, with the subject header “Nomination µFIP Awards”.

µFIP Outstanding Early Career Award

This award recognizes a researcher early in their career whose emerging work on mini-, micro- and nanoscale flow or interfacial phenomena and/or systems represents an exceptional contribution to current and future directions of research in this field. Nominees should have completed their graduate degree no more than 10 years prior to the year of nomination (i.e., no earlier than May 2011).

µFIP Prominent Research and Leadership Award

This award honors a person with significant research record in the field of flow or interfacial transport phenomena at the mini-, micro- and nanoscale, and whose vision, leadership, and/or service have been instrumental in advancing an area pertinent to the scope of the conference.
