Ya-Yu Chiang

Dr. Ya-Yu Chiang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering National Chung – Hsing University in Taiwan. Before two post-doctoral years in University College London (UCL), she obtained her doctor’s degree from the Department of Biochemical and Chemical Engineering, Technische Universität Dortmund (Germany). Her current research interests are fluidic manipulation, biomimicry, and multiphase mass transfer and mechanic. She develops microfluidic devices for high efficiency single cell capture, sorting and in-situ monitoring. She also develops multi-phase flow micro-reactors for rapid continuous processing, and studies the chemical reaction and mass transfer panama at fluid interfaces.
