Yoko Tomo

Yoko Tomo received her BS, MS and PhD from Kyushu University, Japan, in Aeronautics and Astronautics, under the supervision of Prof. Koji Takahashi. Her doctoral research focused on developing an “in-situ” observation of the liquid-gas interfacial phenomena at the nanoscale using liquid-phase transmission electron microscopy. In 2019, she became an Assistant Professor at Kyushu University in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Her current research interests include nanoscale interfacial phenomena and thermal transport in soft matter.
